Rednesday!

I'm joining with Sue at It's a Very Cherry World for Rednesday! http://suelovescherries.blogspot.com/

This is the stool for my bedroom vanity. I just wrapped a pillow sham around the seat cushion......no sewing!

This picture was given to me by my parents years ago. I think it's great. It hangs at the top of our stairs.

Red Christmas balls in an old candy dish. Works year round for me!

An old dishcloth that was my grandmother's.

Here is one of my quilts. It is so nice and warm, because it is wool. My great grandmothers both made quilts. I'll post about them someday!

Happy, Happy Rednesday!

I love that old picture, and I want to be that girl, surrounded by cats and dogs! Love the quilt too. My Grandma was a quilter, and I'm lucky enough to have a couple of them. And I think we all need to have a little bit of Christmas out year round!
Happy REDnesday!

I love everything that you have shared here...I adore anything vintage and especially ones that have memories attached to it.

That's a great way to use a pillow sham. I never seem to use the ones that come in the bedding sets. Love the print, they all look so content.

I love visiting your blog and seeing your banner with your charming home! I love that you have a kitchen towel of your grandmothers. Your quilt is so much fun, do you know what the pattern is?

Happy Rednesday,
Sally

Neat old picture. I like the old wool quilt, too. My paternal grandmother was into quilt-making...I have some of her quilts, thanks to my mother who rescued Gma's quilt pieces and had them finished. Wonderful vintage dishtowel, too :)

Is it a little weird to get excited about a dish towel? It's so cute. I would love to find one as nice. I have a spot I need to fill!

Quilts are one of my other things! Yes, please share the others sometime....I hope I get to see them!
