My Lovely Mixer

Get ready to feast your eyes on a beauty!

A few years ago, I wanted to get a new stand mixer. I do love the Kitchen Aid, but this one caught my eye. The price was right. The style was sooooo cool. Mister gave her to me for Christmas.

Sunbeam. MixMaster.

Legacy Edition.

Heritage Series.

She's a workhorse.

Love her look. She's beautiful.

She gets a lot of use.

Every time I get this mixer out to use, I feel happy. If I had more counter space, I'd leave her out to look at all the time, like I used to do.
A simple thing, but something that gives me great pleasure.
Don't you agree?

Have a spooktacular weekend!

It is a beautiful mixer, very sleek. It looks wonderful in your beautiful new kitchen. Trick or Treat!!!

Gail @ Faithfulness Farm said... daughter has this mixer. She wanted it so badly because of it's *retro* styling...she is a lot like her Momma! Yours is perfect in your kitchen :)

Oh Carol Sweetie...
I too have had my eye on one of these for some time. You may just have encouraged me to go on out and get it. I love the look, and you mentioned that it is a workhorse. That is exactly what I need with the holidays and 8 grandkids now. I am always baking something.

Thank you for the info. and the beautiful share. Your photos are so awesome. Have a gorgeous weekend sweetie. Happy Halloween to you too. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

She is wonderful...kind of retro, too. Sometimes a Kitchenaid is highly overrated.

Lovin' your mixer! My friend had her mother's Sunbeam and one day her hubby used it to mix cement! If that wasn't bad enough he simply put the dirty beaters in the sink... needless to say she was not a happy camper and has not been happy with a mixer since-enjoy:@)

Carol, that is sooo cool! When I saw the photo in the thumbnail on my blog, I thought it was vintage and similar to the one my mother used for-ever! What a great design and also good to know that it works so well. I agree, it would look good on the counter all of the time. (You sure have done a good job of keeping it nice and clean). You made me want to trade in my Kitchen Aid! Thank you for linking this to Favorite Things Sat.

Jealous. Pouting.
That looks like excellent quality! It looks very, very much like the one that my MIL had and gave me to use when we were first married. It finally broke, but it was awesome. I've priced them and know that it's not coming to my house any time soon.

I love yours!

Looks like a very good mixer. I still have one of the old hand mixers that I have not used in years - hope it still works.
Enjoy your weekend.

Love this - it reminds me of the one mine Nan used to have. So glad that you love it and use it. I keep my Kitchen Aid on the counter and use it all the time. Makes it easier!

Cool mixer! I still use a hand mixer most of the time and the big one sits in the pantry. Glad to hear you pull this one out to use. I need to do the same more often. LOL

Seems they haven't changed the design in many years. Funny(now) story about me and my run in with a Mixmaster 44 years ago. I was making banana bread and all I had in the bowl so far was the butter which was creaming. I reached to the back to turn the dial down or up and my long hair somehow got into the beaters and I panicked, couldn't figure out which way to turn it to turn it OFF. My brother heard me yelling and came to my rescue, but not before there was some serious damage to my hair and my scalp was pretty darn sore for a few days. My brother stull refers to it as "the time Janet was eaten by the eggbeater". Cute fellow he is!

Enjoy your mixer and keep your hair up or short!!
