View

I despise exercise. Despise it. (unless I happen to get some while cleaning, or painting a room, or a house, or completing a project, where there is something to show for it when I'm done)

But I have a rowing machine. If I can drag it over where I have a nice view, it helps...a LOT. So that's what I did.

It's in the master bedroom closet. Which has a lovely view. Who would've thought?

The light was beautiful today.

It was so clear...

..and so bright...

...and the geraniums were blooming like crazy.

Haha...we walk on the track which I am not terribly fond of but I must move my body every day. Why I learned this in my forties and not earlier in life confounds me. hugs♥olive

Beautiful views! I despise exercise too! (unless it involves raising my arm to put a Reese's peanut butter cup in my mouth!)

A good view helps with a lot of things, doesn't it?! What a lovely view you enjoy in that room. I've been noticing the light more again now that the foliage is falling like crazy.

Part of what keeps me motivated and enjoying my daily walks is the scenery in our neighborhood...lots of pretty houses to look at as I'm walking...and lots of big ol' shade trees! Hey, whatever works and keeps ya going is great, right? And you are so fortunate to have such a view right from your closet!

OK... I'm giggling that you are a closet rower. The picture in my head is funny.

Oh my! I love your view and wouldn't want to come out of the closet. I definitely think it *not the exercise... I'm so with ya there* is a simple pleasure!

I found you on the Welcome Wagon at the cozy house and I LOVE YOUR HOUSE! I especially love your kitchen project. Outstanding. And you have such a dreamy farmhouse sink. I had hoped for one in my kitchen, but the budget said no. I did match your floor. The black and white checks are so cheery. I'm a new follower.

How blessed you are to live in such a very beautiful place! It looks so serene and peaceful.. it draws me right in to dream of wandering through the trees. I don't enjoy vigorous exercise but for that scenery..it'd be worth it :-)That must be some closet you have!!I guess it is huge. Lovely photos for Dayle's simple pleasures. blessings..Trish
