I've got some seasonal reds and whites today mixed in with year round ones! I noticed this morning that the kitchen bookcase had a lot of red and white. More than usual, that is.
Every year I fill the chamber pot with Christmas ornaments. I enjoy looking at it every day. It makes me smile. Plus it's a sparkly and shiny display. I do like shiny and sparkly.
Got the Santas years ago when Chickie was little.
The white enamelware pan with lid is dressed up by filling with glittery fruit. And vintage napkins.
And then there's the hutch! Lots of red dressing up the whites on top. Also more white treasures inside the hutch on display.
It's a great day to link to Faded Charm's White Wednesday and with Sue at It's a Very Cherry World's Rednesday!
Have a wonderful, red and white Wednesday!

Hi Carol,
LOVE the shiny ornaments in the chamber pot; what a hoot. Can you imagine what the original owners of that little potty would think if they could see it now?
A question -- your ceiling lights in the last picture -- are they covering "can" lighting in the ceiling or are they independent fixtures? I really like them. I'm hoping they are covering can fixtures -- as we have a bunch of them in the kitchen and I'd love to disguise them!
Happy Red and White!

A lot nicer way to use the chamber pot.
Your new kitchen is the perfect backdrop for the reds and whites. You're going to have so much fun this Christmas because it's all so new and beautiful! Love your holiday touches.

I love all this about your Sears home. If you visit my blog you will see that this week I blogged about my husband's great-grandparents' Sears "pre-fab" home. I do have a picture posted on my blog.

Love the touches of red amongst the white, Carol! And I'm glad to see that someone else has started decorating for Christmas. This is the earliest I've ever started, but I just can't stop!
Happy REDnesday!

I have the same little metal house that you have on your front porch... :-) I believe I found that little dandy at the Goodwill... My favorite place to shop.
Love the white chamber pot with Christmas balls. It would make me smile too.
Warm blessings,

Christmas decorations up, here and there. Good for you!!!
The Santas are so cute and the pot filled with ornaments too. I have some whites on top of my kitchen cabinets too. Like the way you display them. I don't know about you but I've been like a magnet toward white pieces lately. They always clean up a look and brighten things up.
Thanks for sharing, Carol. Love it when you visit. Much love!
Oh, yes, shiny and sparkly! I bet that's the best thing that ever happened to a potty!
