So here's where I will be spending a lot of my time this weekend. I will luxuriate in free time, relax on the couch, coffee at hand, fire burning, cats playing or relaxing in the background, while I catch up on blog reading.
Can't. Wait.
It's one of my favorite things to do.
Some other favorite things I'm enjoying today include: cloth napkins displayed to remind me how much I enjoy using them,
A tray that has seen a lot of use - my sister gave it to me years ago for my birthday,
This little old kitchen cabinet with a little door up top.
What do I keep in here? My camera, matches, a little white pumpkin, candy, and snacks, of course!
Have a wonderful day and weekend! I know I will - I'll be spending much of it with you!
Carol

I can't believe you snowblew (is that a word) the ENTIRE block, Carol! WOW! No wonder you're tired.
Enjoyed seeing all of your goodies, and just as I thought, Hmmm... I could take off with that one and maybe she wouldn't notice," up came another shiny object! Fun things you have, my dear.
Hope you get some rest. I'm going to be traveling, so I'm doing my visiting now.
XO,
Sheila :-)
LOL I do not even know what a snowblower looks like! I hope you have a wonderful, restful weekend :D
You are a goooood person! And you deserve a lovely nesting weekend. Complete with blog surfing!
Hugs & ♥'s...
'Cause Valentine Day is coming!
Carol...I LOVE your kitchen cabinet. We have had an incredible amount of snow and have been doing our share of blowing and scooping. Hoping you get a break or spring shows up early :)
Blessings!
Gail
P.S. You and hubby looked so NICE all dressed up :)
Looks like you have the perfect place to relax in front of the fireplace with coffee the picture just looks relaxing
LOVE that you keep a little white pumpkin in your cabinet at all times-so great! Happy weekend:@)
Carol I love your cabinet! and your tray because I love herbs!
What a darling little cabinet, I have never seen one like it before. Happy snow blowing!
I think that everything you showcased would be a favorite thing of mine too. I particularly love cloth napkins.
My sister lives in Colorado and on the corner of her street. She didn't know it when she purchased the house, but according to neighborhood covenant, she is therefore responsible for shoveling... yes shoveling... she doesn't own a snowblower... the entire corner to the mailboxes. Good thing she has a teenaged son, huh?
Aren't you the best neighbor for helping everyone out! Are you doing the sidewalks AND driveways? I usually do the neighbor's drive but hers is narrow since she has a side loading garage. Takes me all of five minutes w/ my 8.5 HP snow blower. That thing is a monster.
Love that cabinet you have in the kitchen. That drop down drawer is really unique. And your tray is sweet, too. ~ Sue
Hi Carol... thanks for stopping by my post today too!... love your relaxing way to spend the day... your little cabinet is so cute, especially the top where it holds snacks!... xoxo Julie Marie
That's one of my favorite things to do, just sit in front of a fire and relax! You look like you have a cozy spot. And what a dear you are to take care of your neighbors, I'd say you deserve a break!!
hugs,
Debra
You deserve a time to relax if you snow blew the block. :D We don't get that much snow in the mid south, just enough to create problems when we do.
Stay warm and enjoy your weekend.
Glenda
That kitchen cabinet is too cute! We've enjoyed looking at parts of your home so much! It's quite chilly in our neighborhood as well...we're just dreaming of spring :) Have a nice week!

Hi Carol! You are one busy girl. Dressing like a diva and snowblowing the block! I'm impressed. You did look lovely and Mr. Sears Kit quite handsome.
I used your books in another of my recent posts, and they will probably be in another in a few days since currently they are part of my living room decor.
Have a happy Sunday!
Oh my goodness Carol - there houses to snowblow! That's a big job! You take care of yourself! Love that cabinet with the little door on top. What a perfect place to keep necessities that are used (or eaten) frequently. Your sofa in front of the fireplace does look like a wonderful place to relax. Hope you got to enjoy it often this weekend. Thank you so much for joining Favorite Things. laurie
Gosh! I need to check my comments before I click on "post"! That should say "three" houses, not "there" houses!! laurie
