A New White for the Kitchen!

I visited my parents Tuesday and they took me to a wonderful antiques mall called Graybeard's.
Now, I like to frequent antique shops and malls, but Graybeard's was really special. There was an amazing selection and the prices were really reasonable!

I'd been looking for an apothecary type jar and found this one. I know it's not antique, but I really liked the look...and the price!

I also really liked the lettering and the words. Mmmmm. Chocolate! I want some now!

Set against the white subway tile. Next to some old vintage Tupperware salt and pepper shakers.

Have a wonderful White Wednesday!

Carol

I had those salt and pepper shakers when I was growing up. I remember how old plastic would become yucky, but your jar is lovely and I adore your backsplash.

I like the jar. It is so pretty, and it doesn't matter if it isn't antique. It certainly has a vintage look to it! I really like the salt and pepper shakers, too!

Love it, although I am sure it would have me craving chocolate every time I looked at it!

I was about to tell you how much I liked it and that I'm looking for some white pieces to jazz up a current project. And THEN, I spotted the salt and pepper shakers. Whooosh... I went sailing down memory lane with those things.

I'll bet my mom still has hers. I'm going to ask.

And I DO love the jar!
