No Worries.

Bubba (big gray cat) and Clarence and me. The cats aren't concerned that they can't open their food bin. Or their can of cat food.

They don't worry that they can't work the heat in the winter or open the windows in the summer. Or take care of the utility bills.

No worries that the dog could run by any minute and disturb them.

They are with me. They rest in the knowledge that I care for them. And that's enough.

If I can care so lovingly and wonderfully for my cats, how much more can and does our Father care for us? He holds us in His Hands. He dances over us with joy. He delights in us and blesses us. His love for us is extravagant.

Rest. In. Him.

The LORD replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."
Exodus 33:14 NIV

Such a good word. I don't think that I'd look nearly that adorable just resting, but everyone looks very cozy indeed.

Right on all counts. Clovis has absolute trust in me to care for him! Question is do I have absolute trust?

I'm going to rest in the Lord just like those cats...if only. No worries!

We could learn a lot from our animals. This is a great analogy.

Oh, Carol, your kitties look so peaceful without a care in the world. How sweet. And a stand in agreement with the 'Amens'!
Thanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Why this looks a whole lot like what my day consisted of- it was a lazy day of lounging around with the cats. Hope you had a good weekend!

I love the way you tied this in to your cute kitties. We studied the passage from Matthew 7 where Jesus reminds us how much we can trust the Father when we ask, seek, knock.

I like it when blogland messages echo my SS lesson!

Hope you had a great Sunday.
