Our neighbor's magnolia puts on a glorious show every year. This year promises more of the same.
It's lovely to watch through our bedroom and family room windows.
Today the weather forecast calls for mid-60's and sunshine! I think the blooms will really progress with such a wonderful day.
Have a wonderful day, yourselves! And thank you, Dayle, for hosting Simple Pleasures Thursday!

Lovely, lady! I adore magnolias. We have two in our yard that are about to bloom.
XO,
Sheila :-)
Magnolia blossoms are gorgeous. I am so happy that spring has sprung.
This is the second or third time in a few minutes that I've heard about the wonderful magnolia tree. Sadly, it does not do well in my corner. Some of my very favorite things to do are to enjoy my neighbors' trees. (I only have one tree on my postage stamp, two lilac bushes, and a couple of azalea bushes, and some forsythia bushes.) Thank goodness for my neighbors' trees.
oOps! Apparently, I lied. There are some types of magnolia trees that actually do well in my corner. I don't recall seeing one, but now I'm going to be looking for them.
Magnolias are spectacular, hope this is a great year-enjoy:@)
I love the magnolia blossoms and the sweet fragrance.
they are beautiful trees! lucky you have one outside your window!
Oh I love magnolias and can't wait to see them this season, they are my want list to grace my home one day...
When I was a child, some family friends had a huge magnolia tree in their yard. My friends and I spent many times climbing the branches. The foilage was so thick we could almost hide there.
Thanks for bringing back a great memory.
Anticipation is half the fun.
Our neighbour has a weeping cherry that adds astounding beauty to our street every Spring!
We all eagerly wait for it to bloom :-)
Magnolias are gorgeous trees too.
How wonderful for you to see your neighbour's through your windows!
A sweet blessing.
Trish
I used to work on a street lined with beautiful magnolias. It is such an amazing site.
Hi Carol,
Spring is a lovely season --- enjoy the magnolias.
God Bless

the waiting is exciting and a bit daunting...but the result is just exquisite :-)

Anticipation = Hope. What a precious thing it is and what a lovely sight you have outside your window.
Ah, I love magnolias, reminds me of living in the south. :)
Blessings,
Cindy
I love watching all the things come to life during spring and I am sure that tree is beauitful full of those big white blooms !!!
Magnolias are the most fascinating blossom for me! Beautiful structure and color! I just can't even imagine a huge tree of them!
Don't you just love neighbors who have beautiful trees for you to enjoy. Our neighbors across the street and down 2 houses just cut down a row of 4 weeping birch that have lined the street for more than the 20 years that we have lived here. :(
Enjoy...
Blessings, Debbie
This is a simple pleasure for me, too. Our pink magnolia has bloomed and faded. I love that I can have a peek at an encore from your window.
Love the bricks - the ones I have came from a neighboring house that burned down years before we moved here. They were piled on the property and I asked if I could have some -
love the way you laid yours! I have some 'Naked Ladies' too - love them!
Hope you enjoy your day,
Kathy
