Retro '40's Kitchen in Red and White!

Mister and I kind have a a crush on a house. We've attended 2 Open Houses there. It's an 1860's mansion with an vintage apartment on the third floor.

The apartment kitchen is so adorable I could live in it! The red and white floor is wonderful. Plenty of room to eat in the kitchen.

Nice corner hutch and door to outside.

Great red counter. And white cabinets.

Do you see the window seat? All the windows in the apartment have window seats!

Joining Kathleen for White Wednesday and Sue for Rednesday today!

Have a wonderful day!

Carol

I love that kitchen!!! I too could live in that kitchen, wow, what I wouldn't give to have a little old fashioned kitchen like that. I love mine, but that one speaks of simplicity...something we can all need more of in our lives. I would love to see what the rest of that house looks like.
Hugs, Cindy

The kitchen is cute as can be! I see so many adorable accessories in red for the kitchen these days.

I love the window seat. I have to tell you a funny story. When our last house was for sale, some folks were so rude....they would come up with the strangest complaints. One lady told us that the window seat was "outdated!!!!!" We really laughed about that one!!!

Wishing you a nice Mother's Day weekend.

how cute! That is why when I renovation the kitchen at my Grandparents house I changed it back the the way it was in the 1940/50's. White cabinets, checkered floor..red yellow white and black!

This looks like the set of an old romantic comedy or something. I think it's grand.

Of course, YOUR kitchen is still one of my favorites in blogland. Just sayin'...
