Turning 50, part 2

So, as mentioned before, Mister and I took my 50th birthday off last week. One of the things we did was to explore a wonderful antiques place called Graybeards, in Jacobus, PA.
We found some treasures!

The vanity lamps are a perfect fit for this piece. They transform it!

Here's a close-up.

Mister found this piece. He is Polish/Lithuanian, and so he was thrilled. It hangs in our foyer now, looking terrific.

I remember this tablecloth from my childhood. I have the one that my mom gave me. It's a bit tattered, and I treasure it. I found this one, in mint condition!

Right now, it hangs over the back of an old chair in the dining room. In front of some old, beautiful cabinet doors we found in the garage.

Linking to Debra for Vintage Inspiration Friday!

Wishing each of you a terrific weekend!

Carol

I love all of your finds! What a fabulous way to spend your birthday.

When I saw the print I thought it was the same one I have. It's not but I wonder if they are by the same artist. I purchased mine at an estate sale about 25 years ago. I too am Polish and fell in love. Mine is faded and has water damage but I still had to have it.

Again, happy birthday!

Blessings, Debbie

Fantastic finds. The lamps are exquisite. So perfect for the dresser. I am so glad you found that shop. Congrats on being 50. It's funny, it doesn't hurt at all. Well, maybe a few aches and pains.
I was just telling someone about your house last week. I think it is so awesome.
Thanks for visiting me and your sweet comments.
Hugs, Ginger

Happy 50th birthday, Carol! So glad you had a nice time finding these great treasures! Love the pretty little lamps and the art piece is so nice. Don't you just love those vintage tablecloths? How nice it was like the one you had. Maybe you could take the one in not so good shape and make some little tea towels or something.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

The tablecloth in mint condition like your mother's is such a sweet find. I'm sure that your hubby really enjoys his sweet find, too. We'll be flea marketing this afternoon and I hope to find a little treasure or two...always cheap therapy.

Carol,

What a great way to celebrate your birthday! I LOVE antique stores! They are my favorite stores because you can find so many unique items that you can't find in other stores. The lamps look great, and I like the art work in the picture as well.

At any rate, thank you for stopping by my blog the other day and leaving a comment. I like your blog. It looks like a neat place! I hope that you will come by and visit my blog again sometime. :)
