New View

I pulled the curtain to the side of the foyer window. It lets a lot of sun stream in. Summer sunshine!

Many times a day, I walk through here.  I enjoy the new view - pots of geraniums.  A sweet, simple, summertime pleasure!

Joining Dayle for Simple Summertime Pleasures. Thanks for hosting Dayle!

Wishing everyone a wonderful week of summer!

Such a pretty, sunny window and I love the geraniums. I recently had to put sheers on the side light windows on either side of our front door; I was afraid the bright evening sun was going to fade the floor. I sure miss the sunshine!

Hi Carol! How pretty to see all of sunshine pouring in your charming house! That's one thing I don't like about my home - it's rather dark!
Thanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

How I would love to take a tour of your beautiful Sears Kit Home.

As hot as it has been here in Texas, we try to close blinds when the hot sun hits...turn on less lights...have more fans running...doing everything we can to cool things down a bit.
hugs, bj

Very pretty, you home has so much character, you make the wood trim look good. I vacillate between loving them in my house and hating them. My husband loves them, so they will never be painted, that I know.
Hugs, Cindy

It's amazing what a simple change like that can do, isn't it? It looks wonderful and makes me envious. (Around here in the summer, I tend to pull it down in front of the window instead of aside. It's soooo hot.)
