8 Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.
9 Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.
10 Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
11 Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.

I Chronicles 16

They say we haven't had snow in October since the Civil War!  Also, the weight of the leaves still on the trees holding the snow will cause more branches to break than expected.

But the snow is beautiful.  And we haven't lost power.  And since the ground hasn't frozen and temps will be in the 50's tomorrow, the snow will soon be gone.

God is good!  I am overwhelmed by the blessings He heaps upon me every day.

Join me for Spiritual Sundays, won't you?
Be blessed!

Cozy and Snuggly

This is such a wonderful time of year! It's beautiful to watch the seasons change, and as the temperatures have cooled, I've been busy with fall nesting activities.

Obviously I am not alone in my thinking! Bubba feels the same way. I know cats like to sleep in soft warm places, but really....

Bubs takes it to another level when he lays UNDER the blanket and sets up a pillow for his head!
What a kindred spirit.
And the most peculiar cat I have ever lived with.  And that's saying something!
Have a wonderful, cozy, colorful fall day!

The Last of the Summer Produce

All summer long the old bowl sat at the end of the counter, filled with garden produce.
I loved looking at it. The bowl has so much character. The produce was bountiful.

It felt like having art in the kitchen all season long! Another example of God's beautiful provision!

Have a wonderful day,

Above and Beyond!

But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Saviour, my God will hear me.
Micah 7:7

I call to You, Lord and You answer, above and beyond my asking.  You answer with Your omnipresence.  Your guidance.  Circumstances fade as I look to You and You fill my consciousness.  Worries aren't important as I look at You instead, and all else drops away.

I have known Him for over 40 years.  And yet He grows dearer, closer, bigger and more to me than I have known or understood before.

He is my Hope.  My All in all.
