Decking the Halls

We've begun decking the halls.

In the foyer we have lots going on. The warm light from the twinkle lights is most inviting.

Here's an old cabinet door that Mister found in the garage, cleaned up and attached a multi-hook to. He painted the hook black and now we have a coat rack!

Please join me and visit Cielo for Show off Your Cottage Monday!

And have a splendid week!
Carol

Do you see that staircase and banister with all those beautiful lights and garland?

Yeah...well, THAT'S the main reason I dream of living in an old home. I want stairs like that to decorate for Christmas.

Just gorgeous. We have zero light switches on our enormous staircase at our old house. I do not decorate there any more anyways. Have a lovely week:)

Gorgeous! Your hall looks so festive and beautiful in your classic home, it looks magazine worth. I'm also at Cielo's. Hugs, FABBY

Your home decorated for Christmas reminds me of the gorgeos photos that appeared in the Ideals Christmas magazines in the 1960's. Your husband did a wonderful job with the coat rack - it's very nice.

I love your lights, but that door trips my trigger. What a grand idea. Blessed happy holidays to you and yours.

Love all the lights and garlands. Christmas lights do add so much ambience. The door idea is great -- clever hubby! I can't tell you how much the outside view of your home reminds me of my inlaws' home in Salem, OR. I kind of do a bit of a gasp every time I open your blog. Many good memories!

Oh I love it, I can get the feeling from the pictures! I posted pics of my porch and perhaps soon will get some up of the house.

Oh Carol, how happy I am that you visited my blog, which then led me to visit yours. My first home was a Sears catalog home and I loved it!! Sometimes I wish I still lived there. I'm definitely going to do some poking around your blog to view more photos of your Sears home. I'm now a follower.
