Chickie came upon a comical, yet disturbing sight tonight after dinner.
Any of you familiar with our bedecked banister this year have noticed that there is usually a cat or two 'enjoying' it. Bubba took the cake tonight, though.
Although he is very large and thug shaped, he is only 2 years old and still thinks of himself as, well, kitten-y.
I know he's been thinking this one up for a while. It was only a matter of time until he executed it.
I'm joining Kathleen for White Wednesday and Sue for Rednesday!

Oh I had to stop in and see this cute little kitty... We just bought our daughter a Ragdoll Kitten we don't get to pick her up yet since she is only 8 days old... But we are CAT loving family... I would love for you to link up here http://shoprubyjean.com/2011/12/sew-crafty-tuesday-linky-party1/
Oh and I am so happy I stopped in I see my friend Marydon above... So I am off to say hello to her.. :)
That is so cute! The greenery must provide just enough traction. He's riding that banister for all it's worth.
Ha! If it weren't for that darn garland, he could slide down the banister - what fun!
I have never seen a kitty on a banister before! Too funny! Who knew! Great a post and my chuckle for the day. Thanks for visiting Cottage and Creek tonight.

He's gone back to his primitive roots where he must have roosted on a branch, or, he's as in love with that garland as everyone who views your banister.
Oh I just love this! Your cat is too cute! We have our cats outdoors - it is enough that my daughter is struggling with her allergies and the Dachshund! We used to have my cat indoors till she passed away. Hope you have a great evening!
Kathy
p.s. hope you take a moment to enter my giveaway!
How cute is that. You never can tell where you will find your cat.
too funny! I hope my cats don't see the pictures they may want to try that!
If I had a banister, Oliver would be napping on it! Like Bubba, he is thug shaped (love that -- perfect description!)
Thanks for visiting my blog!!
Tooooo cute!
What a cutie Bubba is!
Happy Rednesday!
What an interesting set of pictures, Carol!

Cats! What would we do without their antics?
SOMETHING RED
Something cherry, something blue,
Something scarlet just for you;
Something blazing as the sun,
Something red when day is done.

Desert reds here and here
Too Funny! Ours have never tried it. Perhaps out railings are too short.
Great shot!
