Come one, come all! To June's Note Card Party at Vee's!
Her Note Card Parties are great fun!
Let's check out some Summery Scenes.
Places I like to spend my time in the summer include on our back porch (before I stained the railings white),
puttering about in the garden (this "planter"'s bottom finally rusted out this year),
watching and waiting for the snowflake hydrangea to bloom.....and then the blooms slowly tinge to pink,
working in the kitchen, where I have places to put blooms that the cats "can't" reach!
Hope you are having a beautiful summer day where you are!
Carol

Lovely shots for your card choices! We are finally getting some sun today. Happy Summer to you!
Very pretty choices this month! I love the hydrangea blooms!
You have some pretty pictures! I like the last one best because I just love hydrangeas.
Yours are all great choices this month. I'm really, really drawn to that first one with the stack of books. I even made it larger so I could see it better. I love it.
(I love Grace Livingston Hill too. Just thought I would add that. )
Even though I am not a big fan of the summer months, your lovely photos have made it appealing! I think that you drew me in with that stack of books on the back porch...and kept me here through the hydrangea blooms in the mason jars!
Pretty and summery photos that would all make great note cards. I love the stack of books on the table - there's nothing like whiling away a summer afternoon reading.
All pics look very relaxing! Love the white hydrangea-enjoy:@)
I had no idea that hydrangea has so many variations. The snowflake variety is so sweet. Everything looks cool with all the foliage and flowers. I'd happily hang out there!
Pretty Pretty...I have never seen that flower, snowflake, it is wonderful..you garden is great this year
Summer is a good time to relax! I enjoyed your selections for Vee's party. Fun!
Your summer scenes are so pretty. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
You have captured the best of summer. I love hydrangeas. I'm not familiar with the snowflake variety, but it sure is pretty.
Happy Summer.
great shots. really love the hydrangeas. (:
ALL lovely photos! That snowflake hydranga is gorgeous :)
Blessings!
Gail
Lovely cards. I've never seen a snowflake hydrangea before. Do they dry easily?
Lovely pictures for note cards.
Lovely photos all. I really like the mason jars with the hydrangeas in the last one. I can so relate to putting things up high so my kitty can't reach it!
Love your hydrangeas, Carol. I also love the planter on the stump. You're quite a gardener!

These are wonderful for notecards! I love the sun shining in on the first photo! It feels so good to have the warmth of the sun!
Carol, your snowflake hydrangea is really beautiful!
And I love your glass jars, too.
Great notecard pictures :-)
Enjoy your nice warm summer days!
blessings..Trish
Hi Carol. Oh! Those snowflake hydrangea are the pizazz. Never saw anything like them! Great. Thanks for your visits and comments to my blog. Love it when you stop by. Susan
That snowflake hydrangea is so beautiful. Gorgeous at every stage. I like your coal bucket planter too! Thanks so much for the terrific comment you left! So flattering!
Hi there Carol! So glad you stopped by - I'm following you, too! Good to meet you... Been reading backwards here a bit - I love your home and your gardens - both vegetable and your flower gardens. You've really got a green thumb. I'm looking forward to reading more here about you and your home! Stay cool in this heat!
I love your photos. I felt like I was sitting on your porch with you drinking lemonade and enjoying the beautiful summer day.
Hugs,
Laura
Hi Carol, Yes, you and I think alike. Simple pleasures are the best. Love the snowflake hydrangea and the aqua mason jars. Thank you for stopping for a visit. Blessings.
A beautiful collection of summer note card pic's! I'm just waiting for my hydrangeas to bloom.
Wow-the snowflake hydrangeas are brilliant. I want some but have no room...
I love the hydrangeas, so pretty! I've always wanted one in front of my house and you'd think I'd do something about that but I haven't yet, lol!
Also love the white railings and think it's cool that you used white stain. What a great idea. I love my white porch railings too!
Hahahaha! Your comment made me laugh, lol! Just you saying "What's up with that?" when your hair wants to party at bedtime.
As for my summer, it is kind of Junuary around here. A mix of June and January because apparently the rain doesn't know that it's summertime!!!!!!
I didn't get to join Vee, this month, so i am a little late coming by, Carol. Your summer photos are pretty, hope you are enjoying your summer. We are experiencing some very hot temps. so i am not staying outside as much as I would like too.~smile~
Enjoy your day.
Hugs,
Sue
