If you ever are in Adamstown, PA....aka Antiques Capital, USA, make sure to have lunch at Boehringer's.
There was a line when we got there, and with good reason. Order inside, and eat outside.
We had burgers and milkshakes at the old picnic tables.
The picnic tables overlook a creek.
Beautiful patina.
You can get a glimpse of Boehringer's here. Just a little old white building with a green roof.
Great atmosphere, great food!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Carol

The patina is so cool...I thought it was raining. What kinds of foods can you enjoy there?
Not fair...you are too far from me and this just looks like a wonderful place which I would enjoy...especially since today is 104 here!!

Take me back to the 50's! This would be my idea of fine dining:) Isn't it wonderful that places like this are still around?
So what I wanna know... how was the ice cream? Don't tell me you didn't have any.
I love rustic places where you eat outside. We just won't be able to enjoy doing it much for another month or so.
Hi Carol,
Sounds like my kind of place. I like trying new brands and flavours of Ice Cream. I'm glad you had a good day.God Bless

Little places like this are the BEST!
Oh...Don't you love the "Mom and Pop" eateries! They are always the best for homemade taste...and, often, with fair prices, too.
What a peaceful setting there by the creek....thank you for sharing, my friend.
Blessings and cool breezes,
Carolynn >^^<
Mmmm...sounds good! If I ever get there I will be sure to eat there.
Hugs, Cindy
