Come to my back yard. I want to show you something.
See the white railings on the top and bottom porch? I stained them last year, turning 'decks' into 'porches'!
That's the original sunporch to the right of the railing. It was scraped and painted when I painted this side of the house. It's a special place.
This year I have put lots of plants on the back porch.
I spend a lot of time out here, and the plantings have brought the porch to life.
If you were here, we could rock in the chairs while sipping a cup of tea or a refreshing drink. I'd serve you chocolate, too!
Have a wonderful week, and a great Monday!

Hello Carol...It would be most delightful to sit with you and have a cup of tea on your charming porch. Ahhhhhh. Life is good when we can get outside and enjoy nature, isn't it? Your plants look lovely. Susan
It would be a pleasure to visit with you on your welcoming porch. The plants give it such a cozy feel. I have never been able to grow anything in a pot!!!!! Have a nice week.
Your porch looks so inviting and that rocker a delight. Our weather has finally cooled and it has been wonderful sitting out and reading. I know how you must enjoy your porch.
You have a lovely lot of outdoor living spaces. It looks really neat and I'd enjoy sitting a spell with you and enjoying conversation and a bit of tea. I miss my sun porch...do you get to use it pretty late into the fall and early in the spring?
Beautiful...and so inviting! And since you offered a warm drink and chocolate, I'll come! ;)
Hi Carol
I don't remember seeing the back of your home - it's lovely! You have a sun porch? I'm jealous. I think that your Sears kit is definitely bigger than ours. We'd love to add on, but with 2 wedding next year - that's not on the list.
Oh well - someday.
Enjoy your week!

How wonderful to have so many outdoor options.Your plants look beautiful.
Wish it had been cooler to enjoy some coffee outside. Thank goodness it finally it is now!
It has a wonderful hideaway feeling to it, and I love it. All we have is a steeeenking deck out back and a front porch. Neither is private at all. I love your special spot.
I'd love to join you on your back porch, it's such a pretty, plant filled place.
Hugs, Cindy
So gorgeous, Carol! I want to come and sit and sip my morning coffee!
