Two years ago when we redid our kitchen I set up a temporary kitchen in the family room.
As you can see, it was an eat in kitchen!
On this evening, and it was this time of year, it seemed a good idea to dine by candle and fire light.
The colors were warm, romantic and inviting.
Mister was delighted when he came home to this!
Join us, won't you, as we party with Vee at her monthly Note Card Party!

Very pretty and a great idea for these cooler nights. Love the candlelight tone in your photos.
Sitting by firelight is great but I turn the overhead light on to eat I like to see what I'm eating.

I've always thought dining in front of a fireplace most romantic. What a cozy scene you've set.
I bet he was delighted! That looks like a great place for dinnertime, right next to the fireplace and with all the cozy candles!
