The kitchen hutch always lends itself nicely to the change of seasons.
The bookcase gets tweaked, too.
I'm using the Christmas mugs for tea and coffee. Love the feel and shape of them. They are displayed where I can enjoy them all day.
The Santa was a treasure given to my by a client who was downsizing. I love having it here on the counter.
Have a blessed, wonderful week!
And see the amazing vulture above??! I WON it from Anne, who made it herself. She makes O'Kringles too, from okra pods, and is extremely talented. Check our her blog for more!

Your Christmas touches are perfect. Do you drink flavored coffee and/or tea during the holidays?
Your Christmas kitchen looks absolutely charming, Carol. I finished all my decorating before Thanksgiving and was sure I'd be doing a lot of tweaking, but so far so good!
Thanks for visiting my blog and your nice comment. Living in the AZ desert would not be conducive to a fireplace in the bedroom. We are still sleeping with a window open! Even in the family room, we usually have the patio door open when we have the fireplace turned on. So, obviously, we are only having a fire for Abby -- spoiled little bundle of love!
Love all the little Christmas touches in your kitchen. I like a bit of Christmas in every room :)
The kitchen hutch looks so Christmasy wearing red and white...very pretty. Bet you have a lovely, cozy, Christmasy kitchen. And! You've reminded me to go looking for my Christmas mugs. ☺
You're so right about a hutch! I don't know how people live without them! Haha! Love all your homey touches. It's always nice to get out the Christmas cups! So nice you stopped by!
Carol,
I love what you've done! Your hutch looks so nice. I love the mugs too and the tweaking in the bookcase. So pretty.
Have a wonderful week. I'll be busy carrying my sweet granddaughter to and from school. Her mom (my daughter) is out of town this week for her job. She's Dir. of Secondary Education for our school system. My daughter says that I'm 'drivin' Miss Daisy' when I do this. So that's my agenda. Talk to you soon!
Sweet Christmas touches. I love that hutch!
Love how it looks, Carol. So Christmasy and festive! And that little ornament is so neat.
XO,
Sheila
What a pretty hutch! You've styled it so pretty, too.
I think that I have as much fun decorating the kitchen for Christmas as I do any other room. You have done a fine job making yours cozy and festive!
I just LOVE your hutch! Wish I had room for one that big!
I just LOVE your hutch! Wish I had room for one that big!
Looks like you're all set for Christmas Carol! Congrats on winning that cool ornament:@)
I looks so warm and cozy! Love that vulture - such detail!
Enjoy the blessings of the season!

Very pretty and festive, my friend. I love to see a kitchen decorated for Christmas.
Hugs, Cindy
Hey girl! I totally agree with you about the kitchen. There's just something so wonderful about walking into a clean one that makes the cleaning so worth it!
I am in Disney Land right now and so I'm not really visiting blogs as such, but I did want to respond to your comment! I love seeing your kitchen at anytime, it's so pretty....especially fun to see it decked out at Christmas!
Have a lovely week!
This is why I want white cabinets, shelves, and hutches surrounding me. Everything looks so pretty against them.
Love your Christmas touches. I like to use a Christmas mug throughout the season too, and like you I like to leave them out and look at them.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
