The jar's contents change with the seasons. This time of year, it is filled with Christmas baubles.
Since I am attracted to shine and sparkle, much like a magpie, it catches my eye all day long as I work in the kitchen.
This is my eye candy.
Have a shiny and sparkly day!

This is so pretty - your ribbon picks up the colors so well.
My oldest daughter has my Mama's old ornaments in an apothecary jar on her mantel. I love the look!
Your referring to yourself as a magpie made me smile!
Your jar looks very festive filled with Christmas sparklies. I'll just bet it makes you smile...being a magpie and all. :D
Oh, I love the way your glass jar looks, Carol. Darling.
Got caught up on some of your previous posts, too. Your house looks lovely and all ready for Christmas.
Take care. Susan
It is very pretty and lasts longer than a jar of cookies, I'm sure.
I have one of those jars filled with cookie cutters...this would be fun for Christmas...I like it!
That's a great way to fill a glass jar, I have one on my dining table right now.
Hugs, Cindy
Definitely eye catching, Carol. I love bright colored balls displayed under glass :)
Smiling that you commented how clean my house is...with my grandbabies staying here, it doesn't seem so clean to me. Oh, the illusions of a blog, I guess. :)

Have a good day
